The Aberdeen Arms Rooms are being operated as self catering hotel rooms with budget prices.There is a choice of 6 large double or family en-suite rooms available. All are recently refurbished and offer shower room accommodation which can sleep from 2 to 3 people.The prices of these rooms is very reasonable as the service does not include breakfast.All rooms are central heated by environmentally friendly biomass boiler, have self catering equipment e.g fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster for making breakfast and light meals, have double, twin or triple beds, and all have modern flat screen TVs with DVD, DVD library, free wi-fi, and are serviced daily.Downstairs there is a bar, and a chinese takeaway run as separate businesses, which will supply drinks food etc. Cheaper rooms may have some noise from the bar on busy evenings.

Directions

Tarland is about 30 miles from Aberdeen on Royal Deeside. Take the A93 road out of Aberdeen to Aboyne, turn right to Tarland in Aboyne, Proceed 5 miles to Tarland. As you enter the village turn left then straight over the bridge to the square AB34 4TX. The Aberdeen Arms is the first building in the square. However to collect room keys you will need to visit 2 Mill Place Tarland AB34 4YG, proceed up the square for 200 yards until you reach the garage, turn left along Mill Road and then 2nd right into Mill Place.
